Ishmael Beah Comes to USM

Ishmael Beah, author of A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier is coming to the University of Southern Maine on April 14. I have had seperate conversations about this book with Brooke C, Morgan M, Aliesha P, and Tom B. Everyone including me was extremely touched by Beah's story.
Beah became a boy soldier in Sierra Leone and his stories are horrific. This book is a must read for anyone into non-fiction or curious about Africa or being a boy soldier.
